They started with a language and a damaged archive, and kept going for the same reason each time: find the thing that ought to exist for Kodavas and Kodagu and does not, and make it. Two are built. Three are still being worked out.

That help already happens, across a hundred WhatsApp groups that cannot find each other. This is one place to ask, and one place to answer.

How they fit

One roof, on purpose.

These are not five startups sharing a logo. Each one makes the others possible. The language work gives the archive something to be read in; the archive gives the app a reason to exist beyond a dictionary. Connect and Market bring people who would never open a heritage app — a seventeen-year-old chasing an admission, a grower checking a price — and the community layer is what turns any of them into people who correct a translation or record their voice.

It also means one identity, one moderation standard and one set of principles across all five, rather than five products learning the same lessons separately.

Two of them — Market and Connect — are deliberately open beyond the Kodava community. A price board that serves one community in a shared district would be worth less and mean less.
